Santa Barbara Santa Maria San Luis Obispo, CA, October 5, 2026 —

Former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has been appointed as an on-air contributor for Fox News. Her new role is set to commence on November 1, and she will contribute political analysis and commentary across various Fox News platforms.

Leavitt previously served as the White House press secretary during the Trump administration. Her background includes experience in political communications and public relations. In her capacity as press secretary, she was involved in communicating administration policies and responding to media inquiries.

As an on-air contributor at Fox News, Leavitt is expected to offer her perspectives on current political events and developments. The specific platforms on which she will appear have not been detailed beyond the general statement of “across Fox platforms.” Her contributions are intended to inform and engage viewers on the political landscape.

The appointment marks a transition for Leavitt from a direct role in government communications to a position in media commentary. The timing of her start date, November 1, places her debut within a period of ongoing political activity leading up to various electoral cycles.

Fox News, a prominent cable news channel, frequently features former government officials and political figures as analysts and commentators. These contributors often provide insights based on their prior experience and knowledge of Washington D.C. affairs. Leavitt’s role is consistent with this established practice within the network.

Further details regarding the scope of her commentary or specific show appearances are anticipated as her start date approaches. The announcement positions Leavitt to re-enter public discourse through a widely accessible media outlet.
