From the commute to the gym: Music Bible brings Scripture into everyday life
NASHVILLE, TN / ACCESS Newswire / September 22, 2026 / The Bible can now be heard in hip-hop, jazz and country after AI was used to turn every verse of Scripture to music – without changing one word.
Music Bible features more than 30,000 songs and is the world’s first complete, unedited, verse-by-verse Bible in song app. One of the largest AI-assisted music projects in history, it offers the full Bible across 11 genres in English and three in Spanish, with more languages and musical styles on the way.
The free app is the brainchild of 28-year-old Nashville entrepreneur Micah Fiechter who was initially asked by his dad – a pastor – to turn one chapter of the Bible into music for a sermon illustration.
“Dad asked if I could work on 1 John 4 and it sort of just went from there,” Micah explains.
“We have a team of 70 staff working around the clock who have got us to where we are. Hip-hop is the genre that seems to intrigue people the most, but we also have pop, children’s, country and many more.
“What’s unique about Music Bible is that we don’t edit the text at all. We don’t change Scripture to fit music; we change music to fit Scripture.
“The Bible was never meant to sit quietly on a shelf. It was meant to be heard. If someone can memorize the lyrics to a pop song, why shouldn’t they be able to memorize Scripture the same way?
“I don’t want people to remember Music Bible, I want them to remember the Bible.”
Music Bible’s launch coincides with the 500-year anniversary of William Tyndale translating the Bible into English for the first time. Fiechter says the app continues Tyndale’s legacy and that AI is simply speeding up Bible distribution.
Nashville music veteran Michael Blanton – who has sold 70 million records and launched artists such as Amy Grant, Michael W Smith and Rich Mullins – has joined Music Bible as Executive Producer.
He is helping oversee the musical integrity of the platform and its relationships with artists, as Music Bible looks beyond its AI-created catalogue to establish a new genre of word-for-word Scripture songs recorded by musicians.
He said: “I believe Music Bible has the potential to become one of the biggest developments in the music industry’s history, not only showing the creative power of AI for Bible engagement but launching a new wave of artists recording verse-by-verse Scripture songs.
“I’ve spent my career launching recording artists and tours. Music Bible may be the most significant project yet given its global impact and worldwide potential.”
Music Bible can be downloaded for free on iOS and Android. See www.themusicbible.org for more.
